Downtown Disney Shopping

Downtown Disney is a mega shopping and entertainment complex wrapped around a lake that is connected by Disney bus and boat ride to Disney World and convenient to I-4 and the other Orlando resort areas.

Divided into the Marketplace and the West side (Disney's Pleasure Island nightclub complex is in the middle) Downtown Disney is a fun place to shop and a favorite place for families to walk at night after you've had your fill of theme park fun.

Downtown Disney Marketplace

The Marketplace area is home to some amazing restaurants like the Rainforest Cafe, Ghirardelli, The Earl of Sandwich (my favorite!) and even a McDonalds, but people come here for the shopping and people-watching most of all. 

The shops here include an amazing Lego Store, and many Disney-themed mega-stores (including one devoted entirely to Christmas).  You'll find things here that you just plain can't get anywhere else.

Downtown Disney West Side

The west side is anchored by the big entertainment venues of Cirque de Soleil, Disney Quest, and the House of Blues.  Intertwined with that are fun shops that feature everything from Mickey Mouse items to hand-rolled cigars.
